Lisette's Story
I commute daily between Achareidh and Balmakeith Industrial Estate, and as I never learned to drive, I walk. It's a fantastic way to keep fit and energised, and it keeps me young. My husband's grandparents used to own Davidsons the Fruiterers in the High Street many years ago, so our association with Nairn is an established one.
I began to see much more litter when they opened certain fast food establishments so started binning it and that was when I found about the Litter Lotto app. You download it to your mobile phone, then snap a photo of you binning the piece of litter and you could get lucky!
One evening in September, I was walking home and as I litter picked, I heard a message pinging in on my mobile.

Imagine my surprise and delight! I have received the cash and its being put to good use for some essential home repairs which need done to prepare us for a Highland winter!
