Gradually we are making more and more use of our space at Links Studios. Hopefully our fellow tenants are getting used to us! We’ve launched a programme of events there which everyone is welcome to attend – and you can drop by when we’re open. Currently, we plan to be open on Fridays from 10 ’til 1 and then 2 until 4. Back in July we had a coffee and cake afternoon, well attended by a chattering bunch who came up with a load of ideas for future activities including things like time banking, turning the stables at Viewfield into a cafe/wine bar with roof top terrace, members evenings, guided walks in Nairn, Mindfulness workshops, “wobbling litter packs” for kids and a whole lot more! Some delicious cake was scoffed, provided by Frances one of our talented volunteers. It was so much fun we had another coffee/cake session last Friday, 1st September!
We held our first bag making workshop on 26th August. Those who came along decided to continue meeting every two weeks and the second gathering is on Saturday 9th September. Read about this and more soon!
