We are looking for a volunteer treasurer to help Green Hive develop and maintain our financial management system. This is an exciting time to support an ambitious local community group to grow. We now have charitable status and multiple funding streams. Our volunteer treasurer will support the organisation to respond to the complexities of managing grant funding as well as accounting for spending and advising our staff member and board on budgeting and fundraising. Initially we envisage a time commitment of a few days spread over a couple of months whilst developing our financial systems, reducing to quarterly input with updates to the board. Ideally you will have financial management experience and experience of supporting charity or social enterprise finance systems. It is desirable but not essential if you share our goal of enabling environmental sustainability in Nairn through community volunteering and social enterprise.
