We are delighted to be working with the Highland Weigh and Nairn Youth Development to offer a series of Climate Cafe discussions for young people in Nairn.
We started the session looking at our expectations, before we watched the Moray Firth : Climate Change short film produced by Moray Firth Coastal Partnership. We then refuelled and got delicious hot chocolate thanks to the Highland Weigh and concluded by talking about future topics and importantly making some pledges of steps we can make as individuals to create change. It was great to have 13 young people along to our first session.
Our next Youth Climate Cafe will take place on Thursday 14th March from 6-8pm, this is a drop in session that any young people aged 11 and above can attend. It's free and it is designed to explore issues relating to climate change and come up with some tangible actions we can take locally as individuals or collectively.
