Time to Talk Day 2024

The 1st of February is Time to Talk Day. We take mental health very seriously at Green Hive with our staff having undergone Mental health training. We have signed Scotland's Mental Health Charter for Physical Activity and Sport. We recognise the importance of physical activity for staff, volunteers and the wider community and that is why we offer volunteering opportunities which engage with environmental action through our workshop and our outdoor volunteering programme. We are delighted Seaman's Hall is being used to widen the community offer of physical activities on a daily basis through the programme with Highlife Highland, Ignotus Parkour and Roots Gymnastics Academy.

Talking has the power to change lives, and save lives.

Time to Talk Day is the perfect opportunity to start a conversation about mental health. It is also a great time to talk about local services and sources of confidential and free help.
