COVID-19 Corona virus update As an organisation that thrives on volunteer events, we want to let you know about the actions we are taking to prevent the spread of the Corona virus.
Whilst we want everyone to participate in our fantastic events that we have coming up we would ask that if you are showing flu-like symptoms, please follow NHS advice on COVID-19 here: https://www.nhsinform.scot/illnesses-and-conditions/infections-and-poisoning/coronavirus-covid-19
We have hand washing facilities at our Hub in the Links school and our workshop – however if you attend the orchard, the nearest hand washing facility is located in the Nairn Community Centre.
As a lot of our events take place in outdoor settings, please take into account the weather and any underlying health issues. Safety of our participants and volunteers is paramount to Green Hive so we may need to cancel events at short notice, if this happens we will update our website and social media to keep you all informed with volunteers being notified by phone call or email if nescessary.
The Scottish Government has advised that events with over 500 people attending should be cancelled however we are continuing with our planned events for the moment and we will continue to follow the advice issued by the WHO and UK government and update all of our members and volunteers on any changes.
